Wish List

It is probably no surprise to anyone that to me the best gifts to get anyone at anytime would be ones that encourage the imagination. I had the very best time on my search for some of the loveliest toys that a child will certainly play with way past any holiday season.

Goodie, Goodie

I have a bit of a weakness for gumdrops. They are sort of a magical candy that reminds me of
Gingerbread Houses especially this time of year. Gingerbread Houses remind me of the story Hansel and Gretal and you all know I am quite a push over for a fairy-tale.
This Gumdrop recipe is from Bakerella and is just too cute!
Sweet little gumdrops
She even includes a download for a cutie label.
This would be a perfect holiday favor even without the Gingerbread House.
Find the recipe here.
Goodie for you! xoxo Queen Laura

Welcome to the Doll House

I still have my very first doll house. In fact, my five year old niece turned it into a barn and still plays with it today! There are about a million choices out there for doll houses and really any of them would probably get hours upon hours of enjoyment as they one of the very best toys out there for imaginative play! I am currently loving these, Lille Huset Eco-friendly modular doll houses. Made from recycled paper, Baltic birch, and earth friendly printing.

I think they just make the quaintist of dwellings. Just waiting for a little decor, some people to move in and a lot of imagination! xoxo Queen Laura
